The Wine Advocate:

"The 2007 Finca Valpiedra Reserva is a blend of 92% Tempranillo, 6% Graciano and 2% Maturana Tinta that sees 24 months aging in French oak. Indeed, there is a lot of toasty oak on the nose that rather subjugates the fruit profile. The palate is medium-bodied with that oak dominating and drying the finish. I wager that this would be a better wine if a more prudent approach to oak aging had been adopted".
