"The low alcohol, off-dry 2014 Gessamí (jasmine in Catalan language) is a blend of 40% Moscatel, 35% Gewürztraminer and 25% Sauvignon Blanc, all aromatic grapes that are pressed directly in a new press purchased in 2014. The wine has 11.2% alcohol and eight grams of sugar. This is a very popular commercial style of white, which in this vintage shows very balsamic with some herbal undertones, aromas of white flowers and musky-spicy notes. Of course, given the name you are soon smelling jasmine in the glass. The palate has the balance of a Mosel Riesling, but the spirit is more Alsatian, with good harmony between acidity, alcohol and sugar. 220,000 bottles produced".
