The 2021 Selección comes from a vintage they liked very much, with enough rain (and snow) and a warm and dry end of the season. This is their village wine from different zones, from grapes that were picked in October and fermented in stainless steel and concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts. It matured in 500-liter oak barrels and concrete to avoid excess aromas and flavors from the wood in the wine. It's a little riper than the 2020 that I also tasted on this occasion and has a juicy palate with dark berry flavors and abundant, slightly dusty tannins. 31,450 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2022.
