James Suckling:

Spiced cherries and berries with some dark earth to the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate with fresh berry fruit, soft tannins and a fruity finish. Simple but well-balanced. Drink now.

Great value from a bodega that's owned by Terras Gauda in Galicia, this is a well-judged Rioja Oriental blend of Garnacha, 42% Tempranillo, 5% Graciano and 3% Mazuelo, mostly from the Finca Estarijo. Aged in French oak, it's a comparatively fresh, focused style with gentle oak spices and sweet bramble and summer pudding fruit. 2024-26
