The surprising white 2019 Blanco has all the white grapes you can imagine—Garnacha Blanca, Maturana Blanca, Torrontés, Viura, Malvasía and Tempranillo Blanco—fermented in different vessels, while in the past it contained less varieties and was all barrel fermented. I think this has increased the complexity and nuance and lowered the effect of the oak in the wine. It comes through as balsamic with even some minty notes and quite fresh and vibrant, clean and tasty, with a dry finish. 24,681 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2020.
Sliced-apple and lemon aromas with some peach. It’s medium-bodied with brightness and freshness. Drink now.
Izadi nació en 1987 en Villabuena de Álava. Sus impulsores fueron Gonzalo Antón, emprendedor de la restauración de la Rioja Alavesa, y algunos amigos y empresarios vitorianos que lo respaldaron en el proyecto.

petite notes boisée et florale, en bouche un joli gras..un peu beurré..la bouche est simple mais efficace
Notas más marcadas de fruta que de madera, que se intuye poco. Menos redondo que otros Riojas con barrica (como Sonsierra o Azpilicueta)
