The Wine Advocate:

"I tasted two vintages of the red Rioja from Más Que Vinos, including this 2011 La Buena Vid, a blend of Tempranillo with 20% Graciano from 50-year-old vines in Baños de Ebro, located in the San Vicente zone where the soils are rich in limestone. The two varieties fermented separately in small stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts and a short maceration. The wines age separately in second-use French barriques for some 18 months and then they were blended. The nose is quite classic Rioja, representing a very warm and ripe vintage with black fruit and some dark aromas of licorice, shoe polish and fountain pen ink, with a faint animal touch. The palate is medium-bodied, polished and easy to drink. This is very much in line with the 2010 that I tasted last time. 10,000 bottles were filled in February 2014".
