I also tasted an impressive unbottled sample of the 2019 La Calera del Escaramujo. It comes from an old vineyard on marl and limestone soils that they have been recovering since 2013, and it's still work in progress; they only get 800 to 900 kilos of grapes from 1.7 hectares of vineyards, but in the future, they hope to be able to produce 2,500 bottles from there. The wine has a bright ruby color and a shy and austere nose, but where you have to pay more attention is the palate, where the flavors are bright and there's great freshness and harmony with a sense of purity. This has 13.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.26 with 6.8 grams of tartaric acid, quite exceptional parameters. I think this is a wine to follow. It's in barrel waiting to be bottled. They expect around 770 bottles.
