Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

A very modern and boldly oaked style with a meaty, charcuterie edge and a bold serving of fresh, ripe dark plums and blackberries. The palate has a very, very smooth, juicy and composed feel. Vibrant and assertive with great depth. Drink or hold.

The Wine Advocate:

The 2017 La Hormiga came through as oaky and smoky, spicy and with marked oak-related flavors after 18 months in 225-liter oak barrels, 63% of them new. It felt quite ripe and generously oaked. 11,956 bottles and 300 magnums were filled in July 2019.

Tim Atkin:

Three old vine parcels - Matanza, Villalvaro and Quintanilla de Tres Barrios - all located at 950 metres in the wilds of Soria, supply the fruit for this dense, compact, ageworthy Tempranillo from red soils over limestone. The acidity is typical of this higher zone, complemented by lots of sweet dark berry fruit, sinewy tannins and deftly integrated 50% new wood. 2022-30
