In 2000 Viñas del Vero started replanting in the Valle de Secastilla and recuperating the old vines of 70 – 80 years age that had been abandoned when growers opted for more mild growing regions or easier trades. These grapes are the furthest from the estate so they press in the vineyard and transport the tanks to the winery to avoid oxidation. It is a lifted and perfumed wine with lots of garrigue and red cherry fruit. A serious but very accessible Garnacha. 2024 - 2028
