La Mujer Cañón 2020

The single-vineyard Garnacha 2020 La Mujer Cañón is always a bright and clean ruby color from a north-facing, one-hectare plot of vines that were planted in 1934 on granite soils at 950 meters in altitude. The vineyard is worked organically and biodynamically. Fermentation was with indigenous yeasts and full clusters in an oak vat, and then the wine matured in 700-liter oak barrels. The wine has a little more of everything: more fruit, more grip, more energy and balance. The vineyard has been quite stable in the last few years; the grapes ripened thoroughly, and it was an easy vintage.
