James Suckling:

Aromas of cherries, sweet spices, tobacco leaves and coffee. Medium-bodied with slightly rough tannins, but pleasingly chewy and spicy. Drink now or hold.

Curated in the mixed French and American barrels that are a feature of the more commercial LAN wines, this is a well-made, large volume blend of Tempranillo and 6% Garnacha from younger vines. Floral and easy going, it has a nice mix of patisserie spices, sweet raspberry and wild strawberry fruit and fine-boned tannins. 2024-28
