James Suckling:

A very succulent and juicy style that has plenty of rich and fleshy fruit on offer with a floral edge, too. The cherries and red plums are impressive with a wealth of smooth tannins and a supple run to the vibrant finish. Drink now.

Las Cenizas comes from three different parcels in Cenicero, close to the River Ebro, and is considerably hotter than the Finca La Emperatriz, producing a pure Tempranillo qith more richness and fruit power. Sweet raspberry and bramble fruit flavours are framed by subtle scented oak here.
