The Wine Advocate:

The 2016 Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Labastida, from a high-yielding year, matured in a combination of barriques of different origins and aged for 13 months. It has contained ripeness, integrated alcohol, nice balance and a nice expression on the nose. It shows more restraint than the one from San Vicente. I think the year shows the character of each village quite faithfully, and this time I prefer the Labastida again. It has a nice thread on the palate, velvety textured with very fine tannins. 53,927 bottles produced. It was bottled in April and May 2018. - Luis Gutiérrez.

James Suckling:

A tightly wound red with deep, dark fruit with lots of chocolate and spice. Medium-to full-bodied with lovely density and nature. Fine, creamy tannins and a flavorful finish. Subtle and real. Drink after 2021, but a beauty now, too.

Tim Atkin:

Savoury, spicy and just a little wild, this is an 85/15 blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha made with grapes from local growers close to the Remelluri Estate. Firm and quite serious, this needs a little more time in bottle to come together, but has the dark berry fruit to match the
tannins. 2023-26
