The Wine Advocate:

The second vintage from a single vineyard by the family house is the 2008 Llegat Familiar, a Xarel.lo planted in 1935. This was disgorged after 13 years in bottle with lees. This is the most elegant, nuanced and complex wine I tasted from Llopart; it has very integrated bubbles, making it a bit more vinous with freshness and acidity. It has 11.3% alcohol and a pH of 3.02, quite extraordinary. Only 937 bottles were produced; they are releasing 668 of them and keeping 269 for the family reserve.
