This deep-ruby-colored wine offers a bouquet of cassis, purple plum and black olive paste. Plush tannins and well-integrated acidity play backup to black currant, Mission fig, butterscotch, mocha and dried thyme flavors that persist into a lengthy finish.

Tarry and spicy nose with savory, cured meat, sweet spices, pine cone and peppercorn to the ripe blackberries. A hint of mineral. This shows excellent depth and width of complexity on the full-bodied palate with a fine wrap of dusty tannins. Long and nicely opulent in style. Better from 2025.
