Manzanilla Pago Callejuela 2014 50 cl

The 2014 Manzanilla Callejuela Soleras de Almacenista is a new wine in the single-vineyard/single-harvest range. (The 2014s have the vintage in roman numbers, because they were late with the documentation.) It fermented in bota and matured with flor for six months, then fortified and put back in the bota until bottling some four years later. This feels very biological; it has been shaped by the flor, which has kept the wine younger and fresher. It's notable how lighter the color is compared with the other two wines from this Soleras de Almacenista range. This is livelier and sharper and shows the freshness of Sanlúcar.
