The 2020 Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Auslese * is deep and pure on the intense and complex yet still reduced nose that indicates ripe and lush as well as stewed peach aromas at this early stage. Vivacious and savory on the palate, this is a dense and tight as wells tensioned but also very fine Auslese with a saline, savory and finely grippy finish with lemon and lemon leaf flavors. Highly stimulating. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork stopper. Tasted from AP 12 21 in December 2022.
So much spring blossom that it takes you back a bit. Wonderfully succulent palate with strident acidity that lifts you off the ground and promises you the heavens. So vibrant and clean at the very long, pure finish. Drink or hold.
