The 2021 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese *** (White Capsule / AP 40) is clear, fresh and refined on the intense and saline nose that is reminiscent of finely weathered slate but also reveals some oak notes. Round and refined on the first palate, this is a pretty intense and powerful, very dense but still elegant and even finessed ZSU with an enormously complex and stimulating crystalline, saline and crunchy yet still bitter finish. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2023.
