"The 2015 Microcósmico Macabeo was cropped from 50-year-old dry-farmed Macabeo (also known in Rioja as Viura) in the village of Épila on clay and limestone rich soils, the dominant soils in the village of Épila. It fermented with selected yeasts and half of the wine matured in used barrels for four months and the rest in tank with lees and bâttonage twice per week. It has a superb nose, as expressive as young Macabeo can get, with hints of pollen, beeswax and a mixture of white and yellow fruit with a touch of white pepper and subtle spiciness. This has a vibrant palate with great freshness, fresh and tasty, very long. They do not discard the verjus, the juice of the secondary bunches, that adds acidity and is a natural way to acidify on wine. 4,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2016."

Corcho natural pero tocado. No aporta mucho aunque sirve para conocer la varietal
