Still very youthful for a 2019 this really needs to aerate, then some striking floral notes emerge that aren’t traditional for this appellation, but are appealing. The depth and ripe red fruit aromas we associate with Chateauneuf are combined with a lightness of touch on the front and mid-palate, then the power comes through on the long, generous finish. Drink or hold.
