The Wine Advocate:

Still waiting to be bottled, the 2013 Phinca La Revilla Tinto is a new single-vineyard red from a plot planted in 1925, the same plot that they started using for a white in 2011. It will be bottled in its sixth year, after some five+ years in barrique. It has the balsamic nose of wild and aromatic herbs that I often find in the reds here, intermixed with floral and pollen notes and a hint of nuts. The palate reveals very fine and polished tannins and a volatile twist that gives it some freshness. This has been stabilized after such long time in oak (but it's not oaky), so it should have a long life in bottle. They expect to fill 1,500 bottles sometime in March 2019.

Tim Atkin:

Revilla is new to the Bhilar portfolio, made with a duo of Tempranillo and 1% Graciano from clay soils. Sappy, supple and well balanced, with clove and pepper spice top notes, good weight and concentration and very subtle oak. 2020-24.
