The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Piorno is more balanced and fresher than the Salicornia from the same vintage. This 2019 is a little rounder than the 2018, perhaps because of the partial malolactic. It's not the objective here, but it happened and made the wine a little rounder and softer. The production and élevage were exactly the same for the two wines: the full clusters were foot trodden and put to ferment with indigenous yeasts in a 500-liter used oak barrel. This is a very expressive and serious wine, with varietal character, nice balance and a stony sensation denoting some austerity. It matured in the barrel until the next harvest, so some 600 bottles were filled in August 2021.
