Yellow melon, dried apple slices, calendula, freshly dried fynbos and a touch of flintiness all unfold on the intriguing nose of this layered Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is medium-minus in feel, with a ripe fruit impression on the midpalate that yields a satisfying weight, though it's quickly countered by ample acidity and a skin-driven texture that unfold after the sip and linger long into the evolving finish.
