Avaliação dos peritos

James Suckling:

Engaging minerality with a hint of meringue, pomelo, smoke and a touch of pastry and spices. Nicely phenolic and structured on the palate with a full body and creamy middle. Fresh, medium acidity lingers in the ample, long finish. Viura, malvasia and garnacha blanca. Drink or hold.

Tim Atkin:

This is the second vintage of a white wine from Roda, made with so-called "cabezadas" among red wine vineyards. Viura-led with a little Garnacha Blanca and Malvasía, it's creamy, leesy and quite rich, with some added structure from six days on skins and flavours of nectarine and grapefruit. 2024-27.

The Wine Advocate:

The second vintage of their white is the 2020 Roda I Blanco, which showed Rioja typicity and some developed aromas and pungent flavors, reflecting a year that is probably going to be approachable earlier on. It's a powerful and ripe white, with 14% alcohol and very good freshness denoted by the pH of 3.2. It fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured in large French oak barrels for 18 months. 8,242 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2022.
