Decanter:

A serious, intense wine with subtle aromas of spice and apple on the nose. Palate blossoms with white peaches, lemon curd, green herbs, and vivid acidity. Well-balanced and will age further.

The stonier of the two wines in the Santiago Ruiz portfolio, this is beautifully judged O Rosal Albariño from veteran winemaker Luisa Freire. Aged on lees for six months in stainless steel, it features a rhapsody of quince, lime and green fig and appealing granitic grip. 2023-29
