The exciting interplay of juiciness and raciness makes this really exciting and the wild-berry and white-peach notes make it hard to resist. Another stunning 2019 that will only get better with aging. Very mineral finish. Drink or hold.

The 2019 Schloss Johannisberger Riesling Kabinett Rotlack is pretty intense yet coolish on the loud nose, which is less refined than previous vintages. Round and sweet on the palate, this is a full-bodied, elegant, refined and mineral Riesling with good grip and stimulating salinity on the tensioned and refreshing finish. Tasted in June 2020.
