Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

The nose of the 2014 Iscay Malbec Cabernet Franc shows some toasty and smoky aromas, and there are some dusty tannins, perhaps reflecting a bygone era when reds saw more extraction and new oak. This blend of 70% Malbec with 30% Cabernet Franc matured in brand-new oak barriques for 12 months, and the oak seems to have marked the wine quite heavily. 24,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in February 2018.

James Suckling:

Wonderfully complex aromas of tobacco flowers, violets, blueberries and black olives. Full-bodied, dense and very polished with fine, chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. The tannins are right and solid. This needs two or three years to soften, but shows great promise, as always. Drink after 2022.
