The Wine Advocate:
The entry-level red is the 2015 Treintamil Maravedíes, which is mostly Garnacha, but it also contains some 10% of the obscure red Morate. It's sourced from different plots in the village of San Martín de Valdeiglesias, some co-fermented, some separate. It has a ripe and heady nose with notes of cherries and flowers and the slightly rustic tannins of the vintage. This is a serious red, with good depth and a somehow austere mouthfeel. 43,760 bottles were filled in June and September 2016 in two lots. This is an approachable wine coming of age.
