The Wine Advocate:
The 2015 Morgon Côte du Py from Trenel comes with a nose bursting full of clean and pure blueberry and raspberry coulis aromas, a hint of iodine emerging with time. It successfully controls the alcohol to retain freshness and delineation. The palate is smooth in texture with fine, quite saturated tannin that lends this Côte du Py a fleshy mouthfeel. Yet underneath there is commendable structure and it feels very harmonious on the slightly heady finish. Great stuff from Trenel here.

Genial Morgon. Guardado un tiempo está mucho mejor. Suave, afrutado pero sin renunciar al cuerpo. Gran francés.
Way more alcohol than expected from a morgon and from the detail page (14,5%) vs 13% mentioned. I wasn’t looking for this in a morgon!
