There aren't many bottles of this remarkable wine left, but you can still buy it from the bodega at a price. Showing just 12.5% alcohol - how things have changed in Ribera del Duero - it's a mature delight, with beautifully integrated French and American oak, aromas of leather and baking spices, savoury tannins and a core of beguiling balsamic sweetness.
