Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

"Intensely balsamic, aromatic and developed, the 2011 Valserrano Gran Reserva has the house blend of Tempranillo with 10% Graciano that is common for most reds here. It matured for 34 months in French (60%) and American (40%) barriques. It showed aromas of cigar box, cedar wood, smoke, incense and spices with ripe black fruit. The palate showed some granularity, pungent flavors and good persistence. 17,750 bottles were filled in December 2014."

Tim Atkin:

This complex, slowly evolving Gran Reserva is typical of the La Marquesa style, still showing lots of focus and youthful energy at 10 years of age. Aged in a combination of French and American wood, this 90/10 blend of Tempranillo and 10% Graciano is savoury, spicy and complex with good backbone and concentration and a balsamic lift. 2021-31
