The Wine Advocate:

There is a new white, the 2020 Vidonia V.P. (V.P. stands for "viñedos propios," or "own vineyards"), produced exclusively from the Paraje Las Suertes (the same paraje that produces the red that was called El Ciruelo, now Las Suertes) on clay and sandy soils. In this case, it fermented in new 500-liter Stockinger barrels, where the wine matured for 11 months, which gives it a more Burgundian profile. It has 12.3%, a low pH (3.04) and good acidity (6.73 grams of tartaric). It's a selection of two barrels with a very Burgundian profile, the style Jonatan García likes to drink. There is finesse and acidity, subtleness and elegance. There is a tad more complexity and depth than in the Vidonia but also more subtleness, and it's a little closed. It's a slightly different style but the same extremely high quality. 1,290 bottles were filled in July 2021.
