The Wine Advocate:

The 2015 Viña Pomal Gran Reserva, 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano is quite ripe with 14.5% alcohol and noticeable oak after 24 months in American oak barrels and one more year in oak vats. 2015 was a ripe and powerful year. The wine has abundant toasty and smoky notes, like the oak was newish and seems to have marked it quite intensely, making it a bit too modern for the Gran Reserva profile. The palate is very oaky too. For fans of oaky Gran Reserva wines. 35,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2018.
