The white 2019 Viña Real Barrel Fermented is also sold in some markets as Viña Real Fermentado en Barrica. The must of the Viura grapes was put to ferment in Hungarian barrels of different sizes and ages, where the wine was kept with lees that were periodically stirred for its upbringing of five months. It has very integrated oak and a citrus freshness remarkable for a year like 2019. It's faintly balsamic, not very aromatic, a bit shy and with a serious palate. 90,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2020.
