Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

The 2015 Aluvional Paraje Altamira reflects the new style of the Aluvional range bottlings—and the rest of the top-of-the-range reds. They are a lot fresher, similar to the Chacayes, but with the added texture of the limestone soils. As with most of the wines from Altamira, the strength is on the palate, where the wine is compact and serious, with no fissures, with verticality and chalky tannins. This should age magnificently in bottle. 15,000 bottles were filled in December 2016.

Decanter:

Zuccardi needs no introduction to wine lovers. The pinnacle of its range, the micro-plot Finca Piedra Infinita, is one of Argentina's best wines, and the Aluvional series of five Malbecs are up there too. Here in Altamira, at 1,100m altitude, limestone gravel imparts a chalky, mineral elegance to the palate, along with pure red berry fruit and appealing herbal notes. It has a beautiful, mouthwatering acidity and a lingering finish. No new oak used, just old barrels and concrete vats. Drinking Window 2018 - 2026.

James Suckling:

A malbec with a focused and very tight tannin structure. Full body, lots of black fruits and minerals. Compacted and refined. Drink now.
