The Wine Advocate:

"The 2011 Gratallops is the equivalent of a village and consists of 35% Carinena (part from Manyettes) to complement the Garnacha. 2011 is the first vintage without any French varieties in the wine. All grapes are sourced from vineyards in the village of Gratallops (the label has the names of the plots used each year). Bright cherry-colored, with a subtle nose of ripe cherries and dark plums, Mediterranean herbs, it also has a fresh touch of orange rind. The palate is medium-bodied with very good acidity and silky tannins in a wine that is both powerful and elegant, juicy and clean. Very persistent. It will need a little bit of time to polish the tannins. Drink 2015-2019."
