Altas Parcelas 2020

The red 2020 Arom is completely different from the wines I tasted before, as it's now pure Garnacha from Calatayud, from vineyards in the villages of Acered, Alarba and Atea on slate, quartzite and limestone glacis soils. It fermented with 50% full clusters and matured exclusively in concrete. 2020 was a very rainy year in Calatayud, a year of cooler temperatures, and the wines are fluid and fresh. This is very primary and fruit driven, tasty and juicy, with fine tannins and very easy to drink. 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2021.
