"One of the top examples of Carignan out there, the 2014 Languedoc Saint Drezery Reboussier (100% Carignan) was raised mostly in once used barrels. It has lots of richness in its roasted herbs, melted licorice, plums and assorted dark fruit aromas and flavors. These give way to a full-bodied, textured, sensationally polished red that shows none of the aggressive tannin or edge acidity that this variety can often show. It’s will drink well for a decade".
