Jeb Dunnuck:

The 2018 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Cigala Bio comes from 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah that was completely destemmed and is still aging all in concrete tanks. Ripe black cherries, tons of baking spice, pepper, and violets notes all flow to a medium to full-bodied, round, supple, beautifully pure red that has loads of character. Drink it over the coming 4-6 years as well.

Wine Advocate:

A 70-30 blend of Grenache and Syrah, the 2018 Cotes du Rhone Villages Cigala looks to be the best vintage yet of this cuvée. Blessed with charming raspberry and cherry fruit, it's supple and welcoming, without the sternness that marked the 2017. It's medium to full-bodied, yet easy to drink, with a silky finish.
