Tile and blueberry aromas with some red brick, too. Black pepper undertones. Full-to medium-bodied with fine tannins and a savory, flavorful finish. Drink or hold.
The Wine Advocate:
The single-vineyard 2018 El Valao pretty much follows the style of the 2016—perfumed, floral and spicy, with a medium body, good freshness and fine tannins, keeping the varietal profile. It has the soft tannins of the 2018s. 4,500 bottles were filled in May 2019.
