The Wine Advocate:
The nose of the 2017 Clonal Selection Elgin Pinot Noir is precise with rose tones and accents of cherry and strawberry. The palate is slightly tart with good acidity and has a focused core that brings pleasure. The finish is fine, well balanced and long. Search this producer out! Kershaw is working with a few different French Pinot clones here, such as 777, 667, 115, 114 and 113. Perhaps one day we will get a deconstructed range of clonal-specific Pinots from Kershaw? 5,850 bottles were made.
