Flinty nose with lots of minerality. Subtle cream, green apples, limes and chalky stone fruit. Saline and textured, with razor-sharp acidity cutting through the medium- to full-bodied palate. Long, salty and still transparent. A nervy, salty alternative to outstanding Chablis. Delicious now, but will bold.

Two very different, old-vine parcels – Finca Iglesario in Meaño and Finca Playa in Cambados – supply the grapes for this rich, textured Albariño. A wine that will appeal to white Burgundy lovers, it's a concentrated, later-picked style with flavours of cream, lemon butter and orange peel supported by granitic minerality. 2023-27
