Black cherries, licorice, dried herbs, and earthy notes all emerge from the 2018 Fitou La Tire. Rich and medium to full-bodied, with ample fruit and texture., it's a solid, textured barrel sample based on 60% Carignan and 40% Syrah, brought up all in tank

Two-thirds Carignan and one-third Syrah, Carrel's 2019 Fitou La Tire is a fruit-filled glass of raspberries and cherries, leavened with just enough tannin to keep the wine from becoming too jammy. It's medium to full-bodied and ripe without going over the top. This tank sample was just darn fun to taste.
