The Wine Advocate:

"The 2012 La Vizcaína Las Gundiñas was previously known as La Galbana, but they had a problem with the brand and had to rename it. This is a west-facing vineyard from the valley bottom with a richer soil which produced fruitier, more accessible wines. Somehow this 2012 shows more effect form the oak with marked balsamic aromas and notes of sweet spices (vanilla, cinnamon) and blackberries. The palate is medium-bodied, with some earthy flavors framed by slightly dusty tannins. It has good balance and is easy to drink".
