A perfumed nose of mulberries, blueberries, dried herbs, cloves and cigar box. Medium-bodied with plush tannins and fresh acidity. Chalky texture with a crunchy, flavorful finish. Vegan. Drink now or hold.

Fernando Costa uses fruit from four main villages - Cenicero, Elciego, Lanciego and San Vicente - to make this reliable Crianza, which often seems to overdeliver in the bottle. Deftly marrying French and 40% American wood, it has red cherry and raspberry fruit and sweet patisserie spices. 2022-26
