The Wine Advocate:

The 2022 Superior Branco was produced with 60% Viosinho and 40% Verdelho grapes from their vines in the Douro Superior on granite soils. It fermented in barrel, and they stirred the lees by rolling the barrels (to avoid oxidation) to give it structure and aging potential. It has a similar aromatic profile as the regular white—balsamic, white fruit and flowers, herbs and a touch of bay leaf. It has some fine tannins, moderate ripeness and alcohol (12.5% alcohol) and a dry sensation on the palate. It is tasty, clean and long, with a spicy finish and good freshness. This was first produced in 2013. 46,419 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2023.
