Descrição
Este vinho segue a classificação zonal da DO Bierzo e é elaborado a partir de várias parcelas localizadas no município de Valtuille, algumas delas míticas ou adjacentes a parcelas de maior prestígio na região. Como curiosidade, para além de Mencía, outras variedades minoritárias, tanto brancas como tintas, são utilizadas no seu coupage. Além disso, a fermentação é realizada com cachos inteiros (sem desengace). O resultado é uma produção limitada de 5.000 garrafas cuja colheita anterior foi premiada com 94 pontos Parker por Luis Gutiérrez.

It seems like the sandy soils from the vineyards used for the village red 2020 Valtuille Vino de Villa were quite good at absorbing the extra heat from the year; the wine feels quite harmonious and kept the moderate alcohol level of the 2019. This wine has more abundant but fine-grained tannins, and the 2020 vintage is more powerful—the wines are going to need a little more time in bottle. It's mostly from the same vineyards as in 2019, with slightly shorter macerations, but the wines show more structure anyway. 4,300 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2021. - Luis Gutiérrez.

Nada destacable ni en nariz , corta, ni en boca. Mala RCP.
Se bebe bien. Resulta natural y con poco artificio. Agradable aunque no destaca por nada en especial.
