Decanter:

Subtle smoky notes with gentle woody spice and apricot on the nose. Very intense on the palate with a creamy texture. Round and oily with a saline finish. Definitely one for the long haul and will work well with food.

Tim Atkin:

First released in 2012, Vindel is a single-parcel Albariño from the low-yielding Agro Tremoedo vineyard in the Salnés Valley. You can almost taste the thickness of the skins here, with 30% wood ageing in blonde toast barrels adding a patina of vanilla spice to a palate of orange zest, quince and wet stones.
