Avaliação dos peritos

The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Torralvo feels quite oaky and too young, as it's still marked by the élevage in barrel (18 months in new and used French and American barrels). This was the first single-vineyard wine produced in the very modern, oaky and ripe Ribera style. It's ripe with 14.8% alcohol, full-bodied, structured and powerful and is in need of time in bottle to calm down the abundant tannins. 8,815 bottles and 245 magnums were filled in July 2021.

Tim Atkin:

Juan Carlos Vizcarra likens the 2020 vintage to 2010, which is high praise. Sourced from the 70-year-old Finca Torralvo in Mambrilla de Castrejón, it's a wine that has the structure to handle its new French and 10% American oak. Compact, inky and perfumed, it's an intense, perfumed, black-fruited Tinto Fino that will age convincingly in bottle. 2024-30
