The Wine Advocate:

They didn't produce this in 2014, so I tasted the 2015 Finca Canal Uco, which is from a vineyard that can be more variable depending on the conditions of the vintage. Even though the soils are poor and very mineral, they are slightly deeper and have a bit more topsoil, and the wines tend to have a little more volume and are less austere on the palate. None of these wines are very fruit-driven. They tend to be subtle and austere, with shy aromas that need time to develop, and they possibly will have a long, positive evolution in bottle. 4,000 bottles were filled in December 2016.

James Suckling:

This is a fascinating red with dark berries crushed stones and fresh herbs. Undertones of currant bush, too. Full body, linear and layered tannins and a textured, serious finish. A unique personality to this. Drink in 2021.
